Stream-only shows are not downloadable. Any attempts to work around the stream-only setup could lead to the end of a good thing here.

Well put, i noticed.
One must prune to get rid of old Dead growth to allow new growth and a new posting policy, or were those other posts simply under the radar?
Considering all this, i see the writing on the wall. I predict within 2 months, no more of ANY type of GD downloads, unless the Rhino is kept in its zoo.
Any bets?

It's a fairly simple application, you can do most of the stuff off of the "File" tab and cut/eliminate (prune)unwanted sections and glitch's in a track.
I use it in conjunction with Winamp to moderate/hear which sections. The CD Wave Editor shows the sinewave of the total track and u can edit it within 1/100 of a second.
You just drag the wavefile into the CD Editor. It's totally cooool!

Yes! I believe there is a silent majority who enjoy the streamable files. I know with a family and work, I have little time for DL's or B&P's. Streaming allows us to explore the vast history of this band like we never imagined. Remember listening to tapes while drooling over set lists in Deadbase. NO MORE. In most cases, pull up an inviting show and sink in. Let's hold what we've got. Protect streaming GD SDBs at archive.org! Please, please don't cheat here...

the folks that capture streams, those dirty bastads!
Don't they know that those very streams report back such activites???? lol. REGARDLESS, don't count on GD streams for long, cause even the moderators are being moderated on-lol.
When I see a post advocating the capturing of a-n-y GD stream censored (uh, pruned) out, when in the past, dozens of such posts were allowed, I'm sure it comes from pressure from the top. The GDCorporation wants you to pay the big $$$.
Besides, The Archive does not need lawsuits because of a few "cheaters".
Plain and simple- end of story.
